Arrow
The arrow has deep symbolism and has played a vital role in history. Arrows are symbols of peace, alliance, strength, bravery, and forward momentum. An arrow must move backward before it can move forward and the same is true in our lives. If we want to grow, we must be willing to take a step back, evaluate, and make necessary changes. Arrows require awareness, knowledge, precision, and skill. These are the same concepts for which a counselor utilizes to guide their work with their clients.
Vine
Vines can grow in the most remarkable and inhospitable places. The most improbable, absurd, and unkind environments are no challenge for the fierce will to survive for the vine. In actuality, the vine creates its own way of survival. It will creep and edge into any nook or cranny in order to get what it needs to grow. This is representative of a humans will to live, the endurance, perseverance, existence, and the ability to get through some of the toughest of times.

Therapy isn't for everyone, yes I said it, but it's true. For therapy to be the most effective, the person is ideally in a place of readiness to change, willingness to do the work, and acceptance of the fact that it isn't easy, but it's worth it.
I am what I would describe as direct, honest, a little humorous, yet validating and empathetic. I have worked with a lot of different people with different paths, and struggles. What I have found to be true with the majority of my clients is that progress is made once trust is initiated through the therapeutic alliance. My goal is to meet you where you're at, to understand and listen to you fully, and to assist you in finding your strengths and a new path towards your goals.
My style is based in person-centered, our sessions will be individualized and collaborative in nature. We will be working together with open communication. I meet every client with compassion and understanding while also using evidence-based methods to help you navigate your struggles and/or achieve your goals.
